ZYW620The series of RF capacitor level transmitters are suitable for continuous measurement of liquid levels and interfaces in various storage tanks and containers during industrial production processes. It can convert changes in various liquid level parameters into standard current signals, which can be remotely transmitted to the operation control room for centralized display, alarm or automatic control by secondary instruments or computers.

It is widely used for continuous monitoring of liquid level, material level, oil-water interface and foam interface in metallurgy, chemical industry, environmental protection, power generation, papermaking, pharmacy, printing and dyeing, food, municipal and other industries.


The working principle of RF capacitance level gauge is to use the relationship between level change and capacitance change to achieve the purpose of measuring liquid level. If the probe and the container wall are regarded as two parallel electrode plates, and the measured liquid is regarded as the medium between them, then a simple capacitor is formed. When the liquid level rises, the capacitance increases, and vice versa, the RF circuit converts this change into an analog signal output.




1. The installation position should be as far away from the feeding port as possible to avoid the probe being affected by the impact of the material flow and affecting the measurement effect.
After the installation of the instrument, the probe should avoid touching the tank wall and obstacles inside the tank during use.
When there is mixing or significant fluctuations inside the tank, it is recommended to add auxiliary support and fix the hard rod on the side. Soft cables are installed using ground anchors.
4. Flange installation can be used, first screw the probe onto the flange, and then install it in a flange sealed manner. Alternatively, a mounting pipe seat can be directly welded to the top of the tank, and it is required to be securely installed without any looseness.
5. In non-metallic containers and nonlinear applications, auxiliary reference ground level should also be installed.
When using a soft cable metal bare probe to measure insulation materials (such as coal powder silo), it is required that the height of the installation pipe seat must be less than the length of the hard rod part of the probe to ensure that the hard rod part is exposed from the installation pipe. To prevent the probe from shaking inside the warehouse and causing a short circuit to the ground, the installation socket and steel frame should be connected together.
